Here is my short film! I had alot of fun making this little piece! I wanna say thank you to Pat lau, Lights, Jamie Gallant, Bianca Siercke,Krystal Georgiou and Matt Shepherd and Grandpa for the trailer music!!
Now........ lets enter a world where deranged forest creatures animate to the electronic beats and sweet synths of Juno award winner LIGHTS.Experience what it's like to be a bunny with nasty teeth in a world full of superficial woodland creatures.It playfully mocks our societies obsession with being perfect.This is also a tribute to classic musical shorts done by Disney studios in the 1930's.

I found an Oswald the Rabbit model sheet in a library book whenI was a kid and it blew my mind I thought it was the coolest thing I ever saw!! The Book was called Disney Art Of Animation or something.

Here is the sheet below that inspired me so much. I still think Oswald is one of the coolest looking characters.Im so happy Disney is bringing him back,he still remains one of my favorites, proprtion, design and appeal of this character blow me away! He is so simple too,thats what I love the most.

A year and a half ago I got an email from Tony Cervone. He asked me if I would be interested in taking a stab at giving the Looney Tunes a face lift for a new series. I was like....um.....reallllly?.....YAAAAAA. I took a stab at it and they really liked it! Ive been working with the team out in Burbank, California since.

The classic Looney Tunes from the mid fourties to the early fifties have always been my favorite era. My favorite directors have always been Chuck Jones and Bob Clampett.In my opinion these were the directors that drew Bugs and Daffy the best,and created the most funny and smart cartoons. As a kid I used to study the crap out of these films.So to be asked to give these characters a new look has been an amazing honor,hard, and fun experience!

The original Bugs and Daffy are beautiful designs that have been streamlined through the decades at Warner Brothers.So that was a tough one for me to figure out. I wanted to keep all the spirit of the characters without changing them dramatically.

I gave them slightly different proprtions that emphasise things I always liked about the characters. An example is Bugs' feet. I streamlined them and made them bigger. I thought it would look awesome in a walk cycle and be really fun to animate in general.
I spent six months creating a show bible...new turnarounds,notes and drawings showing the new designs.Id love to post some off the show bible but Ill have to check with my producers.

I knew I'd piss people off by making Bugs mauve and giving Daffy purple outlines. But I like color and like to try new things. A purple rabbit......why not.

The funnest part of this is the stir it has made in the animation community! Check out cartoon brew.Check out how much people hate this still from one of the episodes.

I need help to get this short finished for this years festival!!
Its a fun little piece, that is animated to the fun cute beats of LIGHTS. She is a girl from Toronto that just won a JUNO for best new artist!!The film is about a little bunny trying to make friends, but has a little trouble because of his physical aliment. (: Its a satire obviously....A SILLY SATIRE!

So if you enjoy animating wacked out little animals to fun beats, let me know.....Ill throw a scene or 2 your way. Please send examples of other work you have done.Just so I can make sure you are a great fit for this project(:

Sorry I haven't posted forever! I had a rough few weeks with my computer. My hardrive crashed and I thought I lost everything new on my film Im working on! It was horrible. Luckily I got it all back but it cost me 1700 bucks!!
